Synchro Simulation & Conversion for Flight Training Systems
Flight simulators and aircraft training devices must replicate the exact synchro and resolver signals found in actual aircraft systems. From instrument panel synchro drives to control surface position simulation, training devices require digital-to-synchro/resolver outputs that precisely mimic the electrical characteristics of the real aircraft.
CCC's Digital-to-Synchro (D/S) and Digital-to-Resolver (D/R) modules generate accurate analog synchro and resolver signals from digital commands, enabling training devices to drive real aircraft instruments and interface with actual avionics components for maximum training fidelity.
The Challenge
Simulators must generate synchro signals that match the voltage, frequency, and impedance characteristics of real aircraft systems. Multi-channel simulation requires dozens of independent D/S and D/R outputs, each with isolation and short-circuit protection to prevent damage during development and testing.
CCC's Solution
CCC's DSL/DRL Series and HDRCK Series digital-to-synchro/resolver converters provide isolated, short-circuit-protected outputs with the industry's highest accuracy (20 arc seconds). Our embedded I/O cards (PCIe, VB/VME Series) integrate directly into simulation host computers, providing multi-channel synchro I/O on a single card.
