The Challenge
Rail vehicles generate extreme electrical noise from high-power traction systems that interfere with sensitive position sensors. Constant vibration, shock loads, and temperature cycling destroy conventional sensors. Position feedback systems must be fail-safe and provide absolute position data without initialization sequences.
